non-post post: portfolio
Just to post something, anything. I have made a new portfolio site for my commercial work, which may eventually become my full-on portfolio site for all my work. Show me the mullet! I mean money. Or the really awesome creative project that pays little or nothing. Collaboration is good. Or just pay me to do my thing. I do it well.

doodlesplody

Scratched out the simpler one on a 5x7 pad of paper from Spin. Scanned it in, printed it out on 8.5x11 paper and just kept going. Not sure if that version is done, but I scanned it in, and I'm going to print it out again and add another level to it. I'm just going to work on this one drawing over and over again for the rest of my natural born life. Repetition with improvisation. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Drawing the News: Bill Richardson
The History of these here Internets
A nicely elucidated, yet simple look at the history of computer networks. Nicely animated, carefully explained, and, thankfully, not TOO much detail.

I'm not Travis Charest

I'm not Travis Charest, nor will I ever be, and sometimes that is just a depressing fact to admit. I have a good amount of patience while drawing, and can hold a line decently well, but the facts is duh facts.

Trying to experiment a bit with character design - drawing the same character from multiple angles. Seems like it should be easy, but since I've never tried it before, it is actually somewhat challenging, as these early, sloppy attempts show. The first one looks like two completely different characters, but I think the second one would be viable.
